What this site is
This guide is independent and has no booking interest. It also carries an unusual amount of uncertainty: Malawi publishes no current Nyika tariff, and the last one dates from 2017.
What we could not verify
Nyika is a park where honesty matters more than usual, because Malawi publishes no current fee tariff for it. Rather than copying a number from another website, our fees page shows the last verifiable figures with their dates, tells you which circulating figures are wrong, and gives you the direct contact to confirm before you travel.
The same discipline applies elsewhere. We attribute the park's management correctly, to Malawi's DNPW with the Peace Parks Foundation via the Nyika-Vwaza Trust, where many guides still name the wrong organisation. The famous horse safaris are not currently running, whatever some operator pages still say. There is no published figure for roan numbers or leopard density.
